Awesome music video by Mr.Tit (??) for Swindle - Moodswings.
After a long weekend I was mesmerized by the morphing animations in this video. The techniques looks traditional. ie. drawn but most likely the majority of the animation was done on Flash.
Off to Berlin on Wednesday...again. I know I know. But my friend was renting her apartment for really cheap and my boyf has the week of off his work which never happens! Then from Berlin i'm going to Pisa where i'm going to meet Roos Marie Dijkhuizen and Susannah Starke. We're going to stay in Florence with Sooz for a couple of weeks. Then we might go to Barcelona on a boat to see Ines ( a friend I met in Enschede) and also Kenny A La Fu who has gone there to open up a club.....and Katie Allan! Then from Barcelona or maybe from Genoa we're going to Bristol for a week! Gonna be an absolute rrrot in Bristol. Never been before but fun times of boats, ginger beer and pistachio ice cream await us! I may also go and check out spike Island studios.

CUBA TV Simone Lueck
I Came accross an article in a magazine called Frankie that my sister sent me from NZ. The photograpgher is called Simone Lueck and in July she published a book, Cuba TV: a collection of photographs of people watching TV's in Cuba. I find this really interesting and iconic, the TV's all look so retro. It gives me an insight into life in another country. Something as mundane as watching television has come to life because the surroundings and the culture are completely different to what is the norm for us.
On everyday viewing habits of the people of Cuba, Simone Observes "whether used for information or as a background for socialising and drinking rum, during broadcast hours all TVs in Cuba are ON"
