I bought some El Wire from Hong Kong - actually the weirdness of the situation is that its from Shen Zhen- the same district that the Apple factories are in where there are inhumane working conditions. So to have an artifact from there and to have added to this industry is sort of playing on my consciousness. However, I have been waiting on this el wire for some time now so I had a play.
I have found this circular mirror and have been thinking a lot about technology- mirrors are a form of disregarded technology. I am not sure where I am going to take this. The mirror acted as a sort of vortex creating an illusion of depth and space on the floor.
